Baseball Alumni Game, Banquet Set For Jan. 23

The 2000 USC baseball team will get started on Sunday, Nov. 23 with its annual Alumni game, followed by the preseason banquet.
The Alumni game, which starts at 1 p.m., usually features many former Trojan greats, including some current major leaguers.
Following the game, the preseason banquet and awards dinner will be held at Town & Gown, with a reception at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m.
To attend the dinner, please call (213) 740-4155 to make reservations. For $150, a "Team Patron" will receive two dinner reservations and preferred seating. Or, tickets are $50 each.
The 2000 Trojans are ranked No. 11 by Baseball America and No. 15 by Collegiate Baseball. Junior SS Seth Davidson and sophomore RHP Mark Prior were each named preseason All-American second teamers.
