Women's Soccer Falls in Pac-10 Opener

PULLMAN, Wash. - The USC women's soccer team lost, 2-0, in its Pacific-10 Conference opener at Washington State on Friday afternoon.
USC, continuing its run of inconsistent play, fell to 6-5-1 overall and 0-1 in the Pac-10. Washington State improved to 3-6-2, 1-0.
The Women of Troy managed only six shots to the Cougars' 14.
Randi Glas scored in the 38th minute and Kim Schelpf scored in the 90th minute for the Cougars.
USC will try to bounce back at Washington on Sunday at noon.
