Women's Golf Team Wins NCAA West Regional

HOUSTON - Defending NCAA champion Jennifer Rosales shot a final round 69 (three under par) to lead the USC women's golf team to a first-place finish at the NCAA West Regional at Pine Forest Country Club in Houston, Tex., on Saturday (May 8).
The No. 5-ranked Women of Troy, who beat second-place Arizona by 11 strokes, now advance to the NCAA Tournament at Tulsa Country Club in Tulsa, Okla., on May 19-22.
Among the individuals, Rosales' three-round total of 217 (one over par) was good enough for fourth place, while teammates Leila Chartrand and Nicole Dalkas (who was participating in her first tournament since undergoing rehabilitation for a herniated disk) tied for fifth place at 219 (three over par).
Jenna Daniels of Arizona finished in first-place with a total of 211 (five under par), while Grace Park of Arizona State and Angie Yoon of Nevada each shot 215 (one under par) to finish tied for second-place.
The Trojans led the field with 38 birdies while shooting 11 under par on Par Five holes, including an eagle by Rosales on No. 14 in round two.
