USC Girls' Soccer Camps

Dear Soccer Player:
We invite you to participate in our 1998 USC Girls' Soccer
Camp. The camp provides a great environment and learning
experience for girls 9-18 years of age. The camp is designed to
improve your skills and technique in game-related situations.
Included will be individual training in small groups. The
training sessions will provide tactical awareness and improve
decision-making to provide players with a basis to succeed in the
game.
I will be directing the camp along with my staff and players.
There will also be guest appearances from other top college
coaches and players. You will train daily on the Trojan campus
and have the opportunity to play your training matches in the
historic Los Angeles Coliseum, site of the 1932 and 1984 Olympic
Games.

Housing and Meals: Resident campers are housed two
per room in USC's Marks Tower dormitories, with 24-hour
supervision by experienced live-in staff. Our staff is selected
for their experience in coaching and handling children.
All-you-can eat meals are served in the on-campus dining hall.
Day campers are served lunch and dinner.
Camp Information: Check-in for Sessions 1&2 will
be Sunday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the dormitories. Check-in
information will be sent out upon receiving registration.
Check-out for Sessions 1&2 will be Thursday from 12 p.m.-2 p.m.
Team Discounts: Fees for teams that have 10 or
more players enrolling together is $385 each (a $50 discount per
player). All applications must be received in the same envelope.
Teams can stay intact and practice and play together.
Transportation: Round-trip ground transportation
from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) airport to USC will
be offered for $25. Arrangements must be made prior to your
arrival. All campers who require ground transportation should
schedule their flights to arrive at LAX between 10 a.m. and 1
p.m. Departures from LAX should be between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Application Process: Applications will be accepted
on a first-come, first-serve basis. Upon receipt of application
and fees, a confirmation will be sent out regarding registration
procedures. The balance of camp fees must be returned by June 15,
1998. Roommate requests received after June 15, 1998 will not be
guaranteed.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel at least two
weeks prior to the beginning of your camp session, you may
receive a refund, less the $100 camp deposit, or a credit toward
a future USC Summer Soccer Camp. Cancellations within two weeks
of the start of the camp session cannot be refunded.
