LONG BEACH, Calif. - The No. 1 USC men's water polo team defeated Long Beach State, 14-8, on Tuesday night at Belmont Plaza in Long Beach.
The Trojans jumped out to an early 7-1 lead as six different players scored the first six goals for the Trojans. USC was led by Marko Pintaric, who scored two goals and had three points in the victory.
USC improved its record to 21-1 and clinched the MPSF title outright with an 8-0 record.
USC faces UCLA in the regular-season finale on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center.
