Huber Wins ITA Regional Tournament

IRVINE, Calif. - USC's Ditta Huber captured the ITA Women's Tennis Regional Tournament title on Sunday at UC Irvine, defeated Cristina Popescu of UCLA, 5-7, 6-4, 7-6, in the final.
Huber, a senior, won all of her six matches to win the title. She'll now move on to the ITA Nationals, held in Dallas in February.
Huber and junior Kara Warkentin lost in the tournament's doubles final. Other standouts included junior Jacqui Boyd, who lost in the semifinals to Huber; and Warkentin, who reached the quarterfinals.
