LOS ANGELES - The Southern California baseball team was warmly greeted Monday upon its arrival home from Omaha, Neb., with its first College World Series trophy in 20 years.
About 150-200 people were at Los Angeles International Airport to salute the team.
As the players arrived, they were serenaded by the Southern Cal band and the school's song girls performed.
Morgan Ensberg, who had two hits in the Trojans' 21-14 victory over Arizona State in Saturday's championship game and stole home in the seventh inning, carried the national championship trophy off the plane.
The title was the 12th for the Trojans - the most in CWS history
