Baseball Drops Game to USF, 6-5

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif . - Jeff Pritchard's eighth inning bases loaded RBI- single scored Tony Hurtado to lift USF (29-15) to a 6-5 victory over CAl (14-24) in a non-conference game this afternoon at Bendetti Diamond. Jeff Bowman (6-1) pitched the final three innings in relief to pick up ythe victory.

Pritchard (3-for-5), 2B, RBI) and Gregg Omori (3-for-4, HR, RBI) led USF offensively. Omori's homerun was his team leading 12th of the season.

The Bears will spend the weekend in Los Angeles for a three game series with USC. The first game is Friday at 7:00 p.m.
