LOS ANGELES - USC men's water polo senior goalie Richard McEvoy was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation's Player of the Week, the conference office announced today.

McEvoy had 10 saves in a 12-2 win over Pepperdine and tied a season high with 15 saves in a 13-5 win over California.

It's the second time McEvoy has received the honor in his career, and the third time a Trojan has been honored in 1999.

This weekend, USC visits No. 1 UCLA on Friday (Nov. 12) at 3 p.m., then hosts Long Beach State on Sunday (Nov. 14) at noon.
