Weston Zernechel enters his third season at USC and first as Director of Player Personnel. He joined the USC staff in February of 2022.
He spent the previous 5 seasons (2017-21) at Ohio State, the first year as a recruiting assistant and the last 4 years as assistant director of player personnel. He worked with the football program’s recruiting efforts, including prospect evaluation and identification, and official/unofficial visit assistance and facilitation.
He spent 2016 at Houston, where he worked as a recruiting assistant.
He spent the 2015 season as an equipment intern with the Cleveland Browns.
He was a team manager for the Ohio State football team for 4 seasons (2011-14) as an undergraduate.
He received his bachelor’s degree in sport industry from Ohio State in 2015.
