Max Stienecker enters his second season as Executive Director of Player Personnel at USC.

In his first season at USC in 2025, Stienecker helped sign the nation’s No. 1 unanimously ranked No. 1 recruiting class

Stienecker previously served as the general manager at Wisconsin. He was instrumental in helping build Wisconsin's 2024 and 2025 recruiting classes. Wisconsin's 2024 recruiting class set a program record with 11 four-star 247Sports Composite signees and was ranked in the top No. 23 nationally by 247Sports, On 3 and Rivals. Wisconsin's 2025 class ranks No. 21 in the nation by Rivals.

Stienecker spent two seasons (2023-24) at Wisconsin under head coach Luke Fickell. Upon his hiring at 22-years-old, he was the youngest director of player personnel at a Power 5 school in college football history. He was elevated to general manager prior to the 2024 season which made him the youngest general manager in Power 4 football at only 24 years old.

Stienecker was named to 2023 247Sports' 30 Under 30 for his outstanding work. Additionally, he was listed on On3's 2022 Rising Star Personnel Staffers You Need to Know.

He began his career at Cincinnati as a student assistant in 2018 before moving into a full-time director of on-campus recruiting role prior to the 2021 season.
