Josh Shoemaker is in his 3rd year (2021-current) working in the USC Athletic Department and his second year (2022-current) as the director of operations for USC's women's lacrosse program.

Shoemaker "Shoe" joined the Trojans staff in 2021 as an Assistant Director of Equipment Operations. He spent one year working with lacrosse, soccer and the golf programs, assisting them with equipment preparations. Shoemaker joined his current role in 2022, where he coordinates travel, manages program operations and provides communication on behalf of the lacrosse program.

Before arriving on the scene in Los Angeles, Shoemaker supported all 22 sports as the Director of Equipment Operations at Division II East Stroudsburg University in early 2021. Shoemaker also played his part as an equipment coordinator for the UFC in Las Vegas (2017-20). He initially began diving into the equipment industry as a student football equipment manager (2014-15) before being promoted to assistant football equipment manager (2015-17) at Incarnate Word.

Shoemaker graduated from San Antonio College with his Associate of Arts degree and finished up his schooling by earning his undergraduate degree in sports management from Incarnate Word.
