Jeff Fucci serves as Senior Associate Athletic Director – Operations & Capital Initiatives at The University of Southern California. A member of the department’s senior leadership team, he is responsible for capital planning and development, partnership initiatives, facilities, event management, operations, student-athlete fueling and dining, concessions across USC Athletics venues, and facility revenue generation.
Fucci was promoted into this role in 2022 following a highly impactful tenure as Associate Athletic Director for Capital Projects and Innovation (2015–2022) and Assistant Athletic Director (2013–2015).
During his time at USC, Fucci has overseen more than $440 million in capital projects, including the transformational renovation of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, completed in 2019. The $315 million renovation remains the largest capital project in the history of USC Athletics, introducing a new premium seating tower, overhauling aging stadium infrastructure, and delivering enhanced fan amenities throughout the facility. Fucci played a vital role in fundraising efforts, including securing naming gifts and major capital contributions to support the project. In addition to the stadium renovation, he led a comprehensive overhaul of the venue’s technology infrastructure—delivering a reimagined stack that included stadium-wide Wi-Fi, a 5G DAS system, 600 IPTV screens, LED videoboards, a modernized control room, and NFC-enabled ticketing—enhancing the fan experience and driving increased football game-day revenue.
Currently, Fucci is leading the Athletics West development, a transformative project that includes a new football performance center, expanded football practice facility, a new baseball stadium, a team clubhouse and player development center, and a golf short game practice facility.
He recently led the development and project delivery of Rawlinson Stadium, completed in August 2025. The project created a best-in-class competition venue for women’s soccer and women’s lacrosse, positioning USC among the national leaders in supporting women’s athletics. Fucci spearheaded the $38 million project for the athletic department from inception, playing a key role in the fundraising strategy and donor stewardship.
Previous capital project highlights under Fucci’s leadership include the Marks Tennis Stadium renovation (2015), Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Sales Center (2016), the Park Kennedy Student-Athlete Center (2019), the Colich Track and Field Center (2021), Galen Center Arena refresh (Phase I & II, 2023–2024), the Central Control Room / Broadcast Center (2024), Galen Center LED boards modernization and replacement (2025).
During his tenure as Associate Athletic Director, Fucci served on the senior leadership team and held sport administration responsibilities for men’s volleyball, baseball, and football (shared role). He developed extensive experience in revenue generation, cross-departmental collaboration and fan experience enhancements. His departmental oversight responsibilities included, capital projects, equipment operations, apparel partner management, football video and technology operations, student-athlete fueling, athletic grounds, and department security.
Fucci began his career at USC in 2008 in Student-Athlete Academic Services before transitioning to football operations. He served as Assistant Director of Football Operations in 2009 and was promoted to Director of Football Operations in 2010, a role he held through 2013.
A former student-athlete, Fucci earned his bachelor’s degree in history and education from UC Davis, where he competed in football and was an honor roll student. He earned a master’s degree from USC in post-secondary administration and student affairs (athletic administration emphasis) in 2010, and an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business in 2019. He also completed the Sports Management Institute executive program in 2018.
