Gia Larez has been the Assistant Director of Sport Brands and Communications at USC since 2021. She is currently the primary media contact for men’s basketball, men's and women’s swimming and diving and women’s tennis. Gia also serves as the producer for USC Football Radio (including Trojans Live and the Trojan Tailgate Show).
Previously, Larez worked with football and men's tennis. She began her career as a graduate assistant SID at USC from 2019-2020.
She came to USC from Syracuse, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in 2019 in communication and rhetorical studies. She also earned a minor in marketing. At Syracuse, she was on the club swimming team and served as an intern in the Athletic Communications department where she worked primarily with football. She earned her master’s degree in strategic public relations from USC in 2020.
