As a freshman, Thomas went 15-4 overall and had a 5-1 record in dual matches… teamed exclusively with Katrina Kernochan in duals at the No. 5 position to get five wins… also played with Thomas in eight other matches for a 6-2 record… also played matched with Joy Dennis and Cammie Dorn.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
Thomas was a four-year indoor volleyball letter winner and three-year starter as a setter/outside hitter for Frisco HS in Frisco, Texas… Texas All-State and All-State Legacy team selection… team MVP as a senior… three-time All-District first team… served as team captain as a junior and senior… named High Honorable Mention in PrepVolleyball’s Soph-79… played three years of indoor club volleyball with Excel and one year with Beach 10K and 692 Beach, the premier beach volleyball club in Texas… named MVP and 2013 USA National Championship All-Tournament Team… earned Academic All-Statehonors as a senior… three-time Academic All-District honoree…. National Honor Society Member and AP Scholar Award recipient… graduated with a 3.95 GPA.
BEACH EXPERIENCE
Member of the U17 and U19 USA Beach Volleyball A2 Junior National Team… took first place at the 2015 CBVA Huntington Beach Women’s AA and earned her AAA rating in 2015 with partner Ashley Robert… placed third at the 2015 Gulf Shores Championship in Alabama and at the 2015 AVP Next Women’s Open in Texas… placed third in the 2016 USA Queen of the Beach event in Hermosa Beach, Calif.… placed fifth at the 2016 Beach Volleyball AAU Junior Olympics… placed seventh in the gold division of the 2016 USA HP Championships… won the 2014 USA Beach High Performance Elite Camp event in Florida… numerous first place finishes in USA/AAU/CBVA 18s tournaments.
