HIGH SCHOOL:
2024 graduate of Etiwanda High where he set 10 school records...Won the 2024 Baseline League 1600m title with a time of 4:25.83...Holds PRs of 4:00 in the 1500m, 4:18 in the one-mile, 9:15 in the two-mile, 14:29 in the three-mile and 15:29 in the 5000m...Two-time Baseline MVP and cross country champion...Won the Baseline 1600m and 3200m titles...Named the 2023 San Bernardino Country three-mile champion and ranked in the top 20 in the state in the 5K and top 30 in the three-mile race...Finished in the top 10 in the California State Cross Country Championships twice…Named a four-time Scholar Athlete, achieving honor roll status all four years, earning a State Seal and was a Cum Laude recipient.

Born on Sept. 26, 2006 in Pomona, Calif..…Parents are Johana Hernandez and Phillip Castillo and he has one brother, Jacob….Hobbies include watching soccer matches and going to the beach…Favorite foods are anything that his mother makes…Lists his favorite actors as Ryan Reynolds, Xolo Mariduena, Robert Pattison and Ryan Gosling, favorite musical artists as Blink 182 and the Strokes, and favorite movies as Godzilla Minus One, The Batman, La La Land, and the first Harry Potter…Has done community service work with the Lucerne Valley Museum and Castillo Brothers, a foundation to raise money for kids school supplies and sports equipment…Says his sports hero is Cristiano Ronaldo as he loves his work ethic and mentality and has been an inspiration to motivate him to push his limits and keep working…Would like to enter the medical field, preferably in the Biomedical field atfer graduating…Majoring in Biomedical Engineering at USC.
