2025: Debuted for the Trojans with a first-place finish in the 60m at the 2025 Spokane Sports Showcase (Jan. 17)...Earned second in the 60m at the TTU Red Raider Invitational (Jan. 24)...Achieved gold in the 60m and 200m at the Big Ten Indoor Championships (Mar. 1)...Ran a career-best time of 7.09 to achieve the Big Ten Indoor 60m title…Took home gold in the 100m at the Mt. SAC Relays (Apr. 19)...Helped the Trojans to the Big Ten Outdoor Championship title with a silver-medal finish in the 100m (May 18)...A member of the 4x100 relay team that achieved four first-place finishes in the outdoor season, including gold at the NCAA Championships…Ran career-best times in both the 100m (10.93) and 200m (22.20) at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (June 14), tied for the second-fastest time in school history in the 100m.
PRIOR TO USC:
Competed for Florida State from 2023-24 and posted personal bests of 10.94 in the 100m, 22.34 in the 200m and 7.18 indoors in the 60...Placed seventh in the 200m with a time of 22.72 (+1.0) and 12th in the 100m with a time of 11.19 (+0.0) at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Championships...Won the 100m and 200m titles at the 2023 and 2024 ACC Championships, earning Outstanding Women’s Track Athlete of the Meet honors both seasons...Achieved a wind-aided PR of 10.88 (+2.8w) to win the 100m dash title at the 2024 LSU Invitational...Named ACC Freshman of the Year in 2023 and was a three-time ACC Most Valuable Track Performer.

Born on Oct. 16, 2003 in Lincoln, Neb…Daughter of Laquanda Ellison and Donald DeFrand...Has three sisters and two brothers…Her father played football at Nebraska from 2003-06….Favorite movies as Step Brothers, Bridesmaids and The Harder They Fall…Interests include painting, drawing and ceramics….Favorite food is Haitian food….At FSU, she volunteered for the Backpack Blitz at Second Harvest…Someday she would like to travel to Paris and Bora Bora…After USC, she would like to be a successful entrepreneur and continue to be a role model…Majoring in Popular Culture at USC.
