2024-25 SEASON:
HIGH SCHOOL: While at Parkrose High School, Olsen was the first Parkrose swimmer to win a state title since 1977 with a victory in the 200y freestyle at the Oregon Boys 5A State Championships … Was a three-time state champion in both the 500y freestyle and 200 yard freestyle … Set the state record for the 500y (4:26.52) and 200y (1:39.14) freestyle in 2023 and was named the OSAA 5A Athlete of the meet.
CLUB: Multnomah Athletic Club/Blue Crush Aquatic Club.
PERSONAL: Born December 21, 2005 to parents Tami and Tom … Hopes to become an investment banker.
OLSEN'S PERSONAL RECORDS:
- At the 2025 Big Ten Championships, Olsen was 26th in the 1650y freestyle (15:35.41), 36th in the 400y IM (3:58.63) and 37th in the 500y free (4:29.93).
- At the 2024 Texas Hall of Fame Invite, Olsen was 10th in the 1650y freestyle (15:21.97) and 21st in the 400y IM (3:56.76).
