Bio
THIS SEASON: Senior Kevin Little has been a steady contributor for the Trojans throughout his USC career. A valuable distance swimmer, he is seeking his first spot in the finals at the Pac-10s. Little is also one of the team[apos]s top performers in the classroom with back-to-back Pac-10 All-Academic team honors to his credit.
2010: Little swam in three races at the Pac-10 Championships, taking 13th in the 1650y free (15:52.65), 17th in the 400y IM (3:55.07) and 23rd in the 500y free (4:33.01) ... Little earned 2010 Pac-10 All-Academic first team honors with a 3.44 GPA in communication.
2009: Little raced in three events at the 2009 Pac-10 Championships as a sophomore, and was 12th for the second consecutive year in the 1650y free (15:38.44). He was also 13th in the 400y IM (3:56.79) and 19th in the 500y free (4:27.78). All times were personal bests ... He earned Pac-10 All-Academic second team honors.
2008: Little competed in three individual events as a freshman at the 2008 Pac-10 Championships and was USC[apos]s highest finisher in the 1650y free, taking 12th in 15:53.67 (USC[apos]s best time of the season). He was also 17th in the 500y free (4:33.52, personal best) and 18th in the 400y IM (4:03.22).
HIGH SCHOOL: Little prepped at Woodbridge High in Irvine, Calif., where he was a junior national qualifier in the 400m and 800m free ... He was a seven-time NISCA All-American and a three-time Scholastic All-American ... A five-time Sea View League champion, he was his team[apos]s swimmer of the year three times and earned Irvine World News and O.C. Varsity Athlete and Swimmer of the Week honors ... At the 2007 CIF Division I Championships, he was third in the 200y IM ... Earned his school[apos]s Sentinel award for academic achievement twice.
CLUB: Irvine Novaquatics.
PERSONAL: Born Sept. 23, 1989 ....He is a communication major.
