CAREER: In his four-year career, O’Connor has seen action in 23 games with 7 starts (all at center).
2026: O’Connor, a veteran offensive lineman returns as USC’s starting center in 2026.
2025: O’Connor, who was placed on scholarship before the 2025 season, saw action in 8 games with 7 starts at center. He was limited by injuries throughout the season. USC finished the regular season ranked No. 7 in the nation and No. 1 in the Big Ten in passing offense (297.3) and No. 10 in nation in total offense (471.6) and second in the Big Ten.
2024: O’Connor appeared in 8 games with 1 start in the Las Vegas Bowl against Texas A&M as a junior in 2024. He made all 8 appearances at center.
2023: O’Connor saw action in 7 games (San Jose State, Nevada, Stanford, Arizona, Notre Dame, Oregon and the Holiday Bowl versus Louisville) at center as a redshirt freshman in 2023.
2022: O’Connor did not see action as a true freshman offensive lineman in 2022.
HIGH SCHOOL: He was a 3-year starter at center and offensive guard at Santa Margarita Catholic High in Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.). As a 2021 senior, he made Cal-Hi Sports All-State second team, All-CIF Division 1, Orange County Register All-Orange County first team and All-Trinity League first team, as well as Academic All-American.
He made All-Trinity League second team as a 2020 junior.
As a sophomore in 2019, he was Cal-Hi Sports Sophomore All-American first team and All-Trinity League first team.
PERSONAL: He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from USC in the fall of 2025. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Project Management. He earned placement on the 2025 Fall Big Ten All-Academic Team.
