2025: Walker saw action in all 13 games, including 5 starts (Michigan, Notre Dame, Iowa, Oregon and the Alamo Bowl against TCU) as a redshirt freshman linebacker in 2025. He recorded 33 tackles, including 4 for loss of 17 yards (with 1 sack for minus 5 yards) and 1 PBU.
He had 2 tackles versus Missouri State and 3 tackles, including 1 for loss of 4 yards, against Georgia Southern. Walker had 2 tackles, including 1 for loss of 3 yards, at Purdue. He collected 5 tackles against Michigan and recorded 3 tackles, with 1 for loss of 5 yards at Notre Dame. He had 2 tackles versus Nebraska, 6 tackles against Iowa and 5 tackles versus Oregon. Walker was a two-way player in high school seeing action at linebacker and wide receiver. During his senior year in 2023, he tallied 31 receptions for 508 yards (16.4 avg.) with 5 TDs. On defense, he recorded 34 tackles and 2 INTs. He earned placement on the 2023 Associated Press Division 1 & 2 All-State First Team, the 2023 MHSCFA All-State Division 2 First Team, the 2023 All-SMAC First Team and prior to the season, was selected to the 2023 Prep Redzone Michigan Division 2 Preseason All-State Offense.
As a junior in 2022, he was named to the All-SMAC First Team.
Walker also played basketball for Portage Northern.
