HEISMAN TROPHY WINNERS
Five Trojan tailbacks have won the coveted Heisman Trophy as college football’s outstanding player: Mike Garrett (1965), O.J. Simpson (1968), Charles White (1979), Marcus Allen (1981) and Reggie Bush (2005). Carson Palmer in 2002, Matt Leinart in 2004 and Caleb Williams in 2022 became the first USC quarterbacks to win the Heisman.
