2018 USC Football Gameday Information
Traveling to the Coliseum
Expo Line
- Go Metro on game day. Expo Line trains run every six minutes before and after games. Metro's Silver Line also provides service to the 37th St/USC Station, just a short walk from the stadium.
- Save time by getting a Metro Day Pass on a reusable TAP card before game day. They're available at hundreds of sales outlets. If you already have a TAP card, load it with a pass online prior to the game.
Figueroa Street
- Fans that use Figueroa Street to get to the Coliseum should be advised that it has been reduced to two lanes in both directions as part of the MyFigueroa Project.
- In addition, traffic is not permitted to turn left into Exposition Park when traveling on Figueroa.
- Please visit the MyFigueroa Project website for the latest information.
Parking
Reserved Parking
- USC Transportation offers game attendees the ability to reserve a parking space in PS1 or PS2. You can reserve a space online today and arrive up to two hours before game time on Saturday with a guaranteed spot.
- All other parking lots surrounding the Coliseum in Exposition Park are reserved for Trojan Athletic Fund Members.
- Exposition Park/Coliseum lots open at 7am to game pass holders only.Â
Public Parking
- Public parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in all USC campus parking garages. Free shuttles are provided from the USC Parking Center to the Coliseum. Campus lots and structures are available for $25 until full, and will open at 6am.
- Public parking in the Exposition Park/Coliseum lots is not available.Â
RV Parking
- RV Parking is sold out for the 2018 USC Football season.
Entering the Coliseum
Tips for Expedited Entry:
- Arrive to the Coliseum entrance gates early
- Bring a clear bag for your belongings (see LA Memorial Coliseum Clear Bag Policy)
- Remove phones, keys and other metal objects from your pockets
- Have your tickets out and ready to be scanned by your host
Enter the Coliseum through your preferred entry gate:
- Due to construction around the LA Coliseum, we highly recommend following the entry instructions printed on your tickets. Please see the map below for a visual reference.
- General Ticket Holders, please enter through the following gates:
- Gate 1: Entry gate for seats in sections 33, 1, 2, and 3
- Gate 4: Entry gate for seats in sections 4, 5, 6, and 7
- Gate 8: Entry gate for seats in sections 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12
- Gate 19: Entry gate for seats in sections 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19
- Gate 23: Entry gate for seats in sections 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24
- Gate 28: Entry gate for seats in sections 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29
- Trojan Athletic Fund (TAF) Members not attending pre-game parties, please enter through Club 33:
- All TAFÂ Members have access to a dedicated entrance gate at the peristyle end of the Coliseum, entering through Club 33. The TAF exclusive entrance opens 30 minutes prior to kick-off, and you must have a TAF or Club 33 logo on your ticket in order to enter.
- TAFÂ Members attending pre-game parties, please enter at the gate instructed on your pre-game party invitation.

LA Memorial Coliseum Clear Bag Policy
For the fastest way to enter the stadium, we strongly encourage guests to not bring any type of bags, but if you must, outlined below are the specific types of bags that will be allowed inside the venue:
- One bag that is clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and does not exceed 12 inches by 6 inches and 12 inches or
- A one-gallon clear plastic storage bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
- In addition to one of the clear bags noted above, guests may also carry in a small clutch bag or purse approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap.
- An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection.
Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, oversized seat cushions with pockets or metal structures, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.

ESPN 710 Radio / USC Radio Network Pre-Game Show
- On game day, ESPN LA 710AM Radio will be broadcasting live beginning at 1:00 pm, with the USC Radio Network Pre-Game show beginning at 3:00 pm and hosted by Jordan Moore, John Jackson and Shaun Cody. The ESPN radio stage is located in the Trojan Fan Fest in front of the LA Memorial Coliseum.
Galen Center Football Pre-Game Tailgate
- The Galen Center Founders Club will be open from 11:00 am-2:00 pm for to a wonderful catered tailgate party for all fans. Entry cost is $27.50/adult (12 years and older) and $17/child (4-11 years old).
- To reserve your Galen Center Tailgate passes, please email galencentertailgate@aramark.com.
Preview Center / Coliseum Renovation
- Take a moment to visit the Coliseum Renovation Preview Center before you head into the game! Located at the southeast end of the stadium (adjacent to the Peristyle), the Preview Center features a museum, scale model of the 2019 Coliseum, samples of the new Trojan Athletic Fund seats, and a 3D viewer from every seating section in the stadium.Â
- The Preview Center is open throughout the game and closes at the start of the fourth quarter.Â
Ralphs Ultimate Tailgate Experience
- Ralphs is offering USC fans the Ultimate Tailgate Experience, and all they have to do is spend $35 in-store on participating products and a FREE Ralphs Ultimate Tailgate Admission will print at the bottom of the receipt. Bring the receipt for admission into a tailgate party outside the Coliseum with FREE food and drinks. For more information on the Ralphs Ultimate Tailgate Experience click here. The Ralphs Ultimate Tailgate is located in the Trojan Fan Fest on Christmas Tree Lane across from the Olympic statues near of the Peristyle end of the Coliseum.
Tailgate Guys
- USC and Tailgate Guys have teamed up to offer reserved, turn-key tailgating packages for Trojans football fans! There are a variety of tailgate packages and amenities to service groups of all sizes; all tailgates are located on Christmas Tree Lane just steps away from the Coliseum.

Trojan Athletic Fund / The Coliseum Clubs
- The Coliseum Clubs, located near Gates 6, 19, 33 and the West End Food Court inside the Coliseum, feature upscale food, beer and wine service exclusively for Trojan Athletic Fund (TAF) Members with Cardinal & Gold, Women of Troy, Cardinal & Gold Premier, Committee and Scholarship memberships.
- Coliseum Clubs are accessible once gates open (except for Club 33; see below).
- However, Club 33, which opens at kick-off, is open to TAF members with Trojan Club memberships as well as TAF members with Cardinal & Gold, Women of Troy, Cardinal & Gold Premier, Committee and Scholarship memberships.
Trojan Family Game Day Experience
- Fans of all ages are invited to come and experience the Trojan Family Game Day Experience, a family-friendly, on-campus tailgate that is free and open to the public.
- Centrally located in Alumni Park (in front of Doheny Library and across from Tommy Trojan) families are welcome to enjoy the outdoor screens showing live games, and relax in comfort with tables, chairs, and a wide array of food and beverages (non-alcoholic soft drinks, wine, and beer) available for purchase.
Trojan Fan Fest
- The USC Trojan Fan Fest is the ultimate USC Fan Experience! Make your way over to the front of the Coliseum starting at four hours before kickoff to partake in all the fun and exciting games and promotions in the Fan Fest area.
Trojan Walk
- Cheer and high-five the team as they walk into the Coliseum prior to the game! The Trojan Walk happens approximately two hours and 20 minutes prior to kick-off at the peristyle end of the Coliseum.
Zero Waste Tailgates:
USC Sustainability will be giving recycling bags to tailgaters to use for recycling their tailgate waste. During pre-game, Zero Waste Tailgate volunteers and the Los Angeles Conservation Corps will be coming around to collect filled bags and will dispose of them in the appropriate place. Also, Ware Disposal recycling bins will be stationed around the Coliseum so you can recycle all your cans and bottles on the way to the stadium as well.
Help USC reduce the environmental impact of game days by placing your cans and bottles into the bins.

Leaving the Coliseum
Metro ExpressLanes
- To help speed traffic for drivers after the game, all fans leaving the Coliseum area can hop on the I-110 South ExpressLanes at the 28th St/Flower or 39th St entrance and travel to Manchester Ave AT NO CHARGE. All vehicles, including carpools, need a FasTrak transponder to use the lanes - except for the special post-game arrangement mentioned above.
