The Trojan Dance Force competes at national collegiate competitions, performs at all USC men's and women's basketball games, USC philanthropic events and new student admission functions, makes TV entertainment appearances and much, much more.
This year, the 2003-04 Trojan Dance Force captured the United Spirit Association national championship in Las Vegas on March 1. The national title is the second such championship for the Trojan Dance Force. The team finished first at the 2003 Cheerleaders of America (COA) Collegiate Championship held in Irvine, Calif., and earned a third-place finish at the 2003 National Dance Alliance (NDA) Collegiate Championship in Daytona Beach, Fla.
The Dance Force will defend its titles at the upcoming COA Championship on Sunday, March 14, and the NDA Championship, March 31-April 4, in Daytona.

1. Can I audition if I am an incoming freshman?
Yes.
2. I live out of state and I am unable to attend auditions, can I send a tape?
Yes. Please send a tape by APRIL 12 to Jennifer Noriega, USC Athletics, 3501 Watt Way, Heritage Hall 203A, Los Angeles, CA 90089-0602. All tapes must be VHS.
Tape requirements:
- A minute to a minute ? routine highlighting your specialties (turns, kicks, leaps, flexibility tricks, etc).
- A headshot (it does not need to be professional).
We are looking for all around dancers with strong technical skills.
3. How many girls are on the team?
Typically the team consists of 15-18 dancers.
4. How many hours does the team practice?
In the fall, the team typically practices 8-10 hours per week normally in the late afternoon/early evening. Once basketball season starts, the team attends all home men's and women's basketball games and has their normal practices. There are usually 2 basketball games a week during the season. During competition season, the team can practice up to 10-15 hours a week. The team attends the USA Competition, NCA/NDA College Nationals and COA Competition.
