National Signing Day is Wednesday, but the Trojans just nabbed yet another early enrollee.
The Trojans need some help shoring up their defensive line, and 5-star DL Marlon Tuipulotu should do just that. The 2016 Prep Star All-American racked up 62 tackles, 14 TFL, 6 sacks, 4 fumble recoveries, 2 deflections and a blocked field goal at Central High in Independence, OR this year. He was also named the USA Today All-Oregon Defensive Player of the Year, All-State Class 5A Defensive Player of the Year and All-Mid-Willamette Conference Defensive Player of the Year as a senior. The cousin of Trojan DT Fili Moala (USC '05-08), Tuipulotu also wrestled in high school, and will bring that athleticism to Troy.
