USC women's basketball opened the season with a 76-44 blowout over Hawai'i on Friday evening.

Junior forward Kristen Simon led the way with 16 points and 10 rebounds. In total, 12 Trojans got on the board, with three in double figures. USC outrebounded Hawai'i, 44-26, and outshot the Rainbow Wahines, 50 percent to 30.
