USC has already clinched the SoCal BMW Crosstown Cup, but that did not stop the Trojans from beating the Bruins again this weekend. USC baseball went into Westwood and took two out of three from its rival, including a 9-0 thumping to swing the series on Sunday.
Freshman Mitch Hart set the tone by throwing six innings of shutout ball, striking out three and giving up only three hits. Jeremy Martinez (three hits) and Corey Dempster (three RBI) provided more than enough offense in support of Hart.
