Scouting Report: The left-footed kicker, fresh off of his redshirt year, brings in a big leg for the Trojans in 2015.
JC Career: He hit 11-of-13 field goals and 43-of-48 PATs as a freshman at Saddleback Junior College. His longest made field goal was from 43 yards out. Boermeester was named to the 2014 All-Southern California Football Association Southern Division second team.
Spring Ball: Boermeester is in a two-horse race against redshirt junior kicker Alex Wood for the starting place kicking job and kickoff duties. The two have competed throughout spring ball and the starter will likely be named during fall camp.
Sark on the kicking competition: "They're striking the ball well. Both of them are. The operation is really key and we're fortunate to have our snapper and holder coming back. That helps new kickers coming in and allows them to focus on their job."
