Effa (pictured), who is originally from Cameroon, was named the 2014 LA City Section Player of the Year as a junior playing for Fairfax High School in Los Angeles. Mazyck was named the 2014 4A Player of the Year in North Carolina, and she ranks as the No. 18 overall recruit in the 2015 class, according to ESPN.
