Among the Trojan men's legends participating will be one-time beach superstars Tim Hovland (pictured) and Steve Obradovich, indoor Olympic gold medalists Steve Timmons, Dusty Dvorak and Pat Powers, Olympic bronze medalists Bryan Ivie and Nick Becker, two-time Olympians Celso Kalache and Donald Suxho, indoor All-Americans Bob Yoder and Bill Stetson and current beach star Tri Bourne.
The women's legend players will include three-time Olympic gold medalist and current assistant coach Misty May-Treanor and 2012 captain Geena Urango, with others expected to be named soon.
Serving as Honorary Legend of the tournament will be 77-year-old USC alumnus Ron Lang, a 1964 Olympian and Volleyball Hall of Famer who won nearly 50 beach tournaments. He is regarded as one of America's greatest indoor and beach players ever.
Hosted by the USC Men's Volleyball Booster and Alumni Club, the tournament will begin at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17, and then at a time to be determined on Saturday, Oct. 18, depending on the kickoff time of USC's Homecoming football game against Colorado that day.
