At Thursday's USC Student-Athlete Graduation, the assembled Trojans inside Galen Center were awe struck by two inspiring tales of obstacles overcome and selflessness embodied.Â
First, Loudia Laarman, an All-American sprinter on the track team, shared her life's journey from death's door in Haiti to a second chance in Canada and finally a family at USC. And then, senior defensive back Josh Shaw, who has one more season of eligibility, explained how a family crisis pushed him into a life-changing decision.
