Johnson, a three-year letterwinner at USC from 1983-85, went on to a 22-year major league career after being drafted by the Montreal Expos in the second round of the 1985 draft. The dominant left-handed pitcher won five Cy Young awards, is a member of the 300 wins club, pitched two no hitters (the second was the 17th perfect game in MLB history) and won one World Series with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
