USC football officially announced the hiring of wide receivers coach Tee Martin today, which completes the 2012 coaching staff.
Martin comes to Troy from Kentucky, where he held the same position, but he is best known for winning the BCS National Championship at Tennessee as Peyton Manning's successor. The former quarterback is also renowned for his tenacious recruiting.
"We are extremely fortunate to make Tee Martin the final addition to our coaching staff," said head coach Lane Kiffin. "Not only does he bring instant credibility as a national championship quarterback, but he has grown into a nationally-recognized coach and recruiter. We look forward to him taking our record-breaking receivers to an even higher level."
Martin will happily inherit All-American Robert Woods and Freshman All-American Marqise Lee as the starting wideouts in his first season.
