Life's great when you stick with 8.
It's been a game of numerical musical chairs for Ronald Johnson lately, as the senior wideout, who has worn No. 8 since arriving at USC in 2007, tried No. 83 for a few days this week. But now he's gone back to his original jersey number and has decided to remain true to what he came in to USC wearing.
He gave 83 a try because he said he was "getting ready for the pros," since NFL receivers wear numbers in the 80s.
"But the coaches told me I got to keep 8 because that's what everyone's seen me in and knows me as," Johnson said.
