As a sophomore, Hines played 11 matches and finished with a 7-4 overall record… went 3-3 with Alexa Stonish, 2-1 with Lorna Brandt, and 1-0 with Marielle Bagnard, and Jo Kremer… finished third at the “Dad” Founder’s Cup in Honolulu with Stonish… advanced to the quarterfinal of the USAV Beach Collegiate Challenge copper bracket with Brandt.
2014
As a freshman, Hines was 13-3 with a 5-0 mark in dual matches… advanced to the USC Tournament round of 16 with Brooke Fournier… won three dual match points at court five with Nicolette Martin and one at the top court against San Jose State (April 5)… also won at No. 4 with Alexa Stonish against Arizona (April 26).
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
Hines played both indoor and sand volleyball at La Costa Canyon HS in Encinitas (Calif.)… a member of the 2013 USA Volleyball A1 U21 National Team and 2012 A1 U19 National Team… won gold at the 2013 beach Junior Olympics and was fourth at the USAV beach U21 National Championships… won the 2011 and 2012 Nationals… earned the Athletic Scholar Recognition Award her sophomore year… awarded Coach’s Award as a junior… member of California Scholarship Federation for four years… played for the San Diego Beach Volleyball Club for five years… helped her U18 team win the BVCA National Championship… former Trojan All-Americans Natalie Hagglund and Katie Fuller also prepped at La Costa Canyon HS.

Paige Talley Hines was born on Dec. 12, 1994, in San Jose, Calif.… parents are Christy and Steven Hines… has one sister, Kendall… member of the Residential Student Government at USC… lists Misty May-Treanor as her biggest sports heroine… majoring in environmental studies.
