Abril Bustamante is a senior All-American and a captain on the USC beach volleyball team.

As a junior, Bustamante was named an AVCA All-American… selected with Tina Graudina as the Volleyball Magazine/Sand Socks National Pair of the Year… tabbed for Volleyball Magazine All-America First Team honors… Pac-12 All-Conference First Team selection… Pac-12 Championship All-Tournament Team… played exclusively at the No. 1 position and produced a 36-4 record… teamed with Graudina for a 31-2 mark and with Terese Cannon for a 5-2 record… won 19 consecutive matches with Graudina between March 24 and April 28… named Pac-12 Pair of The Week (March 27) and earned National Pair of the Week by VolleyMob.com (March 27) and by AVCA/CollegeBeachVB.com (March 13)… named to Pac-12 North and South Invitational all-tournament teams at the No. 1 position with Graudina.

As a sophomore, Bustamante went 24-11 overall with a 23-8 record in duals… teamed primarily with Joy Dennis for a 19-9 overall record and went 18-6 at the No. 4 position in duals… won nine straight matches with Dennis between March 25 and April 22… missed several weeks of competition due to injury… participated in the inaugural USAV Beach Pairs Championship with Dennis.

As a freshman, Bustamante teamed up with Jenna Belton at the No. 4 spot and went 26-5 in dual matches and 28-7 overall… selected to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team and the Pac-12 All-Conference Second Team… advanced to the silver bracket finals at the Hawai’i Invitational and the silver bracket quarterfinals at the USAV Beach Collegiate Challenge… earned Pac-12 Pair of the Week honors with Belton (March 28).
