Alexandra Poletto is a graduate student beach volleyball player for the Women of Troy.
2018
In her first season at USC, Poletto went 19-18 overall with 17 wins in duals… teamed with Haley Hallgren to go 10-5 overall with a 6-1 mark at the No. 5 position… named to the Pac-12 North Invitational All-Tournament Team at the No. 4 position with Poletto… also teamed with Peri Green, Maja Kaiser, and Katrina Kernochan… won three matches at No. 4 and No. 5 positions with Kernochan… won five straight matches with Hallgren between April 26-28.
2014-17 COLORADO STATE INDOOR
Poletto was a two-time All-Mountain West selection (2015-16) as a four-year middle blocker at Colorado State… three-time Mountain West Scholar-Athlete (2014-16) and three-time Mountain West Academic All-Conference (2014-16)… four-time Mountain West Player of the Week: twice for the offensive award and twice for the defensive award… appeared in 91 matches for the Rams and played in 278 sets… completed career with 603 kills (2.17 kills per set), a .348 hitting percentage, and 346 blocks (1.24 blocks per set)… averaged better than three points per set in her sophomore and junior seasons… amassed 805.5 points (2.90 points per set) in her four-year career.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
Poletto prepped at De La Salle College "Oaklands” in Toronto, Ontario, Canada… competed for Leaside Volleyball Club and helped her team win a gold medal at the U18 Ontario Provincials and silver medals at the U17 Ontario Provincials and Canadian Nationals… named a U18 and U17 Provincial All-Star... a three-time Signum Fidei Honor Roll honoree.
BEACH EXPERIENCE
Poletto won a gold medal at the 2013 U21 Canadian Beach National Championship… participated in the 2014 U19 World Championships in 2014… member of the Ontario U24 Beach Provincial Team… was the youngest member of the Team Ontario U18 team in 2011-12, and was a starter on the Team Ontario U19 National Team Challenge Cup… earned a gold medal with her beach partner at the 2012 Ontario Summer Games… had a best international finish of 45th at the 2014 FIVB AGWC.
