June 04, 2025 | Women's Golf
LOS ANGELES. – USC women's golf secured two more All-American nods as it positioned freshman Jasmine Koo on the Golfweek All-American first team and junior Catherine Park on the second team, Golfweek announced on Wednesday, June 4.
Koo was named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American first team last week, while Park was honored as a second team recipient.
The duo helped propel the Women of Troy to their fourth consecutive appearance in match play at the NCAA Championships.
USC has 39 individual All-Americans, totaling 82 All-American honors. The Trojans have earned 30 first-team and 26 second-team honors.
Koo was named the unanimous Big Ten Freshman of the Year and was All-Big Ten first team after leading USC in wins (four), rounds under par (19) and birdies (140). The freshman's four wins this season were tied for the most in program history; she also tied the record for most wins in succession as she won three straight (Windy City Collegiate Classic; Stanford Intercollegiate; East Lake Cup). Koo also led the Trojans in rounds in the 60s (12), as she broke the program record previously set by Amari Avery (2023) and Kyung Kim (2014).
According to the Scoreboard Clippd rankings, the freshman finished ranked No. 9 in the NCAA Division I Women's Individual Rankings. Koo peaked as the No. 1 player in those rankings twice this season. Koo is also ranked No. 7 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.
As one of the most successful collegiate golfers this season, Koo joined 10 other golfers on the final postseason watch list for the ANNIKA Award.
Park was named All-Big Ten first team after being first in rounds of par or better (26) and top 10 finishes (10). The junior's rounds of par or better and top 10 finishes were both USC program records. The junior recorded four second-place finishes this season, as her lone victory came in the first tournament of the year (Leadership and Golf Invitational). Park recorded her final top 10 finish at the NCAA Championships, as she tied for 5th at six-under par.
According to the Scoreboard Clippd rankings, the junior finished ranked No. 14 in the NCAA Division I Women's Individual Rankings. Park is also ranked No. 6 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.
