Felix Named To 2025 U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Hall Of Fame Class

Sprinter won a woman's track and field record 11 Olympic medals
USC graduate and Olympic great Allyson Felix was named to the 2025 U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Hall of Fame Class, announced on May 6.Â
Track and field's most decorated woman Olympian Felix won 11 Olympic medals, including seven gold from 2004-21. At the 2004 Athens Olymics, Felix earned her first Olympic medal, a silver in the 200m, At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, she earned another silver medal in the 200m and a gold as part of the USA 4x400m relay team. She earned three gold medals at the 2012 London Olympics, winning the 200m and taking the title as part of USA's 4x100m and 4x400m relays. At the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, she earned a silver medal in the 400m and golds as part of USA's 4x100m and 4x400m relays. In her final Olympics in 2021 in Tokyo, Felix earned a bronze medal in the 400m and a gold with USA's 4x400m relay.
The 2008 USC graduate won 31 medals in global championship meets, the most by any athletes. In her post-competition career, Felix continues to advocate to empower woman and the underserved, is a entrepreneur, dedicated investor, board member and philanthropist. The USC track was dedicated as Allyson Felix Field in 2023.
Other Olympic heroes named to the 2025 U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame Class are Steve Cash (Sled Hockey), Anita DeFrantz (Rowing),Gabby Douglas (Gymnastics), Susan Hagel (3 Sports), Flo Hyman (Volleyball), Kerri Walsh Jennings (Beach Volleyball), Bode Miller (Alpine Skiing), Marla Runyan (T&F), Serena Williams (Tennis). Also, Mike Krzyzewski made the class in the coach category, Phil Knight made it as a special contributor and two teams were selected, the 2004 Women's Wheelchair Basketball Team and the 2010 Men's Four-Man Bobsled Team.
The inductees were chosen by a voting process that included Olympians and Paralympians, members of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic family and an online vote open to fans. They will be inducted July 12 in Colorado Springs.
This will be the 18th class inducted into the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Hall of Fame, bringing the total to 210 inductees (individuals and teams). The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Hall of Fame was established in 1979 to celebrate the achievements of America's premier athletes in the modern Olympic and Paralympic Games. The first class was inducted in 1983, and the most recent class was inducted in 2022.
