
USC Women's Golf Jasmine Koo and Catherine Park Make Final Cut at Augusta National Women's Amateur

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Freshman Jasmine Koo and junior Catherine Park finish the first two rounds of the 2025 Augusta National Women's Amateur in the top 15 on Thursday, Apr. 3, securing their spots for the final day. The two Trojans will return to the green for the final round on Saturday, Apr. 5 at the Augusta National Golf Club.
Koo tied for ninth to finish the first two rounds, posting a 71 (-1) in round one and a 69 (-3) in round two. The freshman birdied four in the first round and seven in the second round, for 11 birdies total. She also posted six bogeys over the 36 holes. Koo aims to make another top-10 finish as she placed fourth in the 2024 Augusta National Women's Amateur.
Park tied for 12th after the first two rounds, posting a 71 (-1) in the first round and 70 (-2) in the second—the junior birdied five holes in the first round and bogeyed four. In the second round, Park posted an eagle on No. 18 alongside her one birdie on No. 12 and one bogey on No. 8. She tied for 30th last year and will vie to place even higher this year.
Sophomore Bailey Shoemaker and incoming freshman Sarah Hammett did not make the cut after finishing four-over-par and 16-over-par, respectively.
All 72 competitors will play a practice round on Friday, Apr. 4, at Augusta National, ahead of Saturday's final.
