April 23, 2025 | Women's Golf
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Freshman Jasmine Koo (Cerritos, Calif./Cerritos HS) joins a list of 15 players from across the country as she was named to the ANNIKA Award's Postseason Watch List; the Haskins Foundation announced Wednesday, Apr. 23.
The ANNIKA Award is distributed annually to the best player in women's golf. From this list of 15 it will be narrowed to 10 finalists announced on Friday, May 9. Koo was on the latest watch list for the award.
Koo has been a player to watch all year for the Trojans, as she was the No. 1 ranked player in the Clippd Scoreboard rankings heading into the latter part of the season (currently No. 7). Koo tied the USC record with three-consecutive wins (Windy City Collegiate, Stanford Intercollegiate and East Lake Cup), and is tied for the most wins in a single season with four (Therese Hession Regional Challenge). The freshman led the team in stroke average during the regular season at 70.16 and has recorded 11 rounds in the 60's (tied for single season program record).
The Women of Troy will have to wait and see what is next for their schedule as the NCAA Division I Selection Show is set to air at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET Wednesday, Apr. 23 on the Golf Channel.
