USC's Quincy Watts Named 2025 NCAA Men's Indoor Track & Field Coach Of The Year

Leads Trojans to NCAA indoor title, third in program history

USC Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Quincy Watts was named the 2025 NCAA Men's Indoor Coach of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) today (March 24).

Watts led the USC men's team to the NCAA Indoor title, its third in program history and first since 1972. The Trojan men earned 14 first-team All-America honors. The fourth-year head coach also guided the men's team to a second-place finish at the Big Ten Championships in the school's first season in the conference, winning four individual event titles, more than any other school. USC's Johnny Brackins Jr. set the school 60m hurdles record and JC Stevenson set the 60m dash record. His athletes posted 19 school all-time top 10 times or marks during the indoor season.

Watts, a two-time gold medalist at the 1992 Olympics, was named the 2025 West Region Men's Coach of the Year on March 20.
