Frech placed in the top five in three events
NEW DELHI, India – Trojan Ezra Frech won the silver medal in the high jump and placed fifth in both the long jump and 100m, with the T63 classification, at the World Para Athletics Championships this week.
Frech's first event, high jump, was the most anticipated event after he won Paralympic gold in the event last year. Despite not being able to defend the title, a jump of 1.85m led Frech to second place and his third world medal.
Frech placed fifth in long jump on Monday with a season-best jump of 6.98m. The week wrapped up with the 100m where Frech achieved fifth place in 12.92 to close out a strong week at the championships.
