USC’s Jack McCarthy Reaches Singles Round of 16 at ITA Southwest Regional Championships

LOS ANGELES - USC graduate student Jack McCarthy led USC at the ITA Southwest Regional Championships, reaching the singles round of 16 in Tempe, Ariz.
McCarthy won his first two matches to advance to the main draw round of 16 on Saturday, Oct. 18. The grad transfer from Cornell would later fall in the round of 16 to UCLA's Spencer Johnson 6-4, 6-1.
In doubles, the USC's McCarthy and Matteo Morazzi won their opening match 8-6 over LMU's Wuelfing/Kindhult, but ultimately fell to ASU's Mikrovic/Ginat 8-4 in the round of 32.
