USC’s Elijah Paige Named FWAA Freshman All-American

LOS ANGELES--USC OL Elijah Paige has been named to the 2024 Football Writers Association of America Freshman All-American Team, today (Jan. 14).
Paige is USC's first offensive lineman on this list since 2014 when Toa Lobendahn earned the honor.
Paige, a Big Ten Honorable Mention recipient, was crucial to the success of the USC offense this season. USC finished the regular season ranked No. 10 in the nation (and No. 1 in the Big Ten) in passing offense (291.9), No. 23 in the nation (and second in the Big Ten) in total offense (437.2), No. 24 in the nation in first downs offense (303) and No. 25 in the nation in third down conversion percentage (.448).
Paige played 783 snaps this season through 13 games. Per PFF, he was the No. 7 rated tackle in the Big Ten with over 780 snaps.
Early in the season, Paige was named to the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award Watch List.
