USC Men’s Tennis Newcomers Thrive at Sherwood Cup

Freshman Niels Hoffmann and Connor Church went a perfect 4-0 in singles, as graduate transfer Tristan Bradley went 2-2
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – USC men's tennis newest players succeeded it their first hint of collegiate action, as the Trojans went 5-2 in doubles and 10-2 in singles during the Sherwood Cup from Friday, Sept. 20 through Sunday, Sept. 22 at the Sherwood Country Club.
The three players at the forefront of this dominant performance were freshman Niels Hoffmann, freshman Connor Church and graduate transfer Tristan Bradley, as they competed amongst various transfers and underclassman from six different universities.
As it stacked up Hoffmann produced the best weekend going 4-0 in singles, and 3-0 in doubles. Church followed suit going 4-0 in singles and 3-1 in doubles. Bradley was 2-2 in both singles and doubles for the weekend.
