USC Beach Volleyball's Kraft and Maple Earn AVCA All-America First-Team Laurels

The USC seniors lead all Trojan pairs with 33 victories this season
LEXINGTON, Ky. – USC beach volleyball seniors Megan Kraft (San Diego, Calif./Torrey Pines HS) and Delaynie Maple (San Diego, Calif./Torrey Pines HS) were chosen to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America first team on Wednesday, May 1.
Kraft becomes the third four-time All-American in program history and joins Sara Hughes (2014-17) and Tina Graudina (2018-19, '21-22). She was also a first-team choice in 2021 and 2023 and was a second-team member in 2022. Maple is the ninth Trojan to earn multiple All-America awards. While 15 different Women of Troy have earned All-America honors all-time, Kraft and Maple collect the 31st and 32nd individual certificates.
Kraft is the reigning Pac-12 Player of the Year and is a three-time Pac-12 Pair of the Year winner alongside Graudina twice (2021, '22) and Maple once (2023). She is also a three-time All-Pac-12 choice and was the 2021 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. She has twice earned AVCA Top Flight honors (2022, '23). Her 123-career wins at USC ranks eighth in program history.
Maple is part of the reigning Pac-12 Pair of the Year (with Kraft) and a two-time All-Pac-12 selection. She is a three-time AVCA Top Flight award winner (2021, '22, '23) and ranks fifth in USC history with 126 career wins.
As a duo, Kraft-Maple lead all Trojan pairs with a 33-4 record in 2024. They are 61-7 all-time—sixth all-time in school history—and have dropped just 21 sets through 68 matches played together.
No. 1-ranked USC (33-5) earned the top seed in the upcoming NCAA championship and will begin defense of its three consecutive national titles on Friday (May 3) with a round of 16 match-up against either Atlantic Sun champion North Florida (24-11) or Ohio Valley champion Chattanooga (19-9). All duals at the championship will be shown live by ESPNU and ESPN2.
