No. 8 USC Football Visits Colorado In 'Big Noon Kickoff' Showdown

BREAKFAST IN BOULDER
*USC stays on the road for the second week in a row and travels to Boulder, Colo. to challenge Colorado.
*Kickoff is set for 9 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. MT, and the game will be broadcast on FOX.
*The Trojans are ranked No. 8 in the latest AP Poll.
BIG NOON KICKOFF
*FOX's Big Noon Kickoff is set to take place in Boulder. This is the second time the show has taken place at the site of a USC game. The first was at the Coliseum in 2019 when USC defeated Utah 30-23.
ARIZONA STATE RECAP
*Defending Heisman Trophy winner QB Caleb Williams continues to show why is he the greatest player in the nation as he led the USC Trojans to defeat Arizona State 42-28 in Tempe, Ariz.
*Leading Lincoln Riley's electric offense, Williams has put up incredible numbers – and has not yet played an entire game for the Trojans, as backup QB Miller Moss has come in to take over in 3 out of 4 games this season.
*Williams has played 12 quarters of football through 4 games this season.
*Against the Sun Devils, Williams went 20-of-31 for 322 yards and 3 TDs and no INTs. He also rushed for 10 yards and scored 2 TDs.
*This was the fourth time he has scored multiple rushing TDs in a game in his career (2 vs. Fresno State and Colorado in 2022, and 3 versus Notre Dame in 2022).
*USC scored on its first drive of the game, a 12-play, 75-yard drive which ended as QB Caleb Williams rushed 1-yard for a TD. This is the second game in a row that Williams has scored on the first drive of the game.
*USC has scored on its first drive in all four games this season.

BREATHTAKING BRANCH
*WR Zachariah Branch continues to impress the college football world with his shifty moves and electric returns. Against Stanford, he returned a punt for a 75-yard TD in the second quarter . He had a 96- yard kickoff return for a TD vs. San Jose State on Aug. 26.
*He also has 2 TD receptions this season and is the first Trojan since Adoree' Jackson in 2016 to have a punt return and kickoff return for a TD, as well as at least one receiving TD in the same season. Jackson had 2 punt returns and 2 kickoff returns for TDs and 1 TD reception during the 2016 season.
*Since 1971 (when records are available) Branch is one of just 3 USC players to accomplish the feat, joining Jackson and Curtis Conway (1992 – 1 kickoff return TD, 1 punt return TD, 5 rec TD). He also had 4 receptions for 30 yards and 1 carry for 2 rushing yards against Stanford.
*Branch is currently tied for No. 1 in the nation for kickoff return TDs (1), tied for No. 1 in the nation in punt return TDs (1), No. 2 in the nation in combined kick returns (329) and No. 3 in the nation in punt returns (22.6).
