USC’s Calen Bullock Named to 2023 Jim Thorpe Award Watch List

LOS ANGELES—USC safety Calen Bullock was selected to the 2023 Jim Thorpe Award Watch List today (Aug. 10). The Jim Thorpe Award is annually presented to the best defensive back in college football.
Bullock, a junior, will lead the Trojan secondary in 2023. He started all 14 games and led the team in interceptions with 5 (ranked 11th in the nation). He also tallied 48 tackles and 5 pass breakups. He was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team and the AP All-Pac-12 First team.
In his 3-year career, he has 87 tackles, 7 interceptions (running 1 back for a TD) and 8 pass breakups while appearing in 26 games with 14 starts.
