Freeman Wins The Women’s Discus Throw At The Payton Jordan Invitational

Trojans win 3 of the 5 events they competed in during the 2-day meet

Karlee Freeman won the women's discus throw during the final day of the Payton Jordan Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif. today (April 22). USC competed in five events during the two days of the Payton Jordan Invitational and won three events.

The graduate student Freeman won the women's discus throw competition with her fourth-round toss of 171-3 (52.21m). Junior Summer Mosley had one legal throw of 145-1 (44.22m) to place third.

The Trojans did not compete in any other events today.

The USC track and field team will next be in action at the annual USC-UCLA Dual Meet, hosted by the Bruins at Drake Stadium in Westwood, Calif. on April 30.
